The Chapel Hill Philharmonia relies on donations to fund its operations. Members' tax-deductible contributions make up a large percentage of the organization's income and these contributions are used to fund day to day operations.
A major objective of the Chapel Hill Philharmonia is to expand its outreach in the community through the funding of awards and scholarships to young musicians. To support these projects, the Chapel Hill Philharmonia needs to acquire funds in excess of those collected from the orchestra membership.
Consequently we ask for contributions from the public at large, which we gratefully acknowledge in our concert programs.
